Patternocalypse is a long-running collection of seamless repeating patterns created over many years, with roots reaching back to 2012. What began as an energetic exploration of color, rhythm, and repetition gradually grew into a much larger body of work. The 156 designs shown here represent the patterns that survived over time—many others were lost along the way as files disappeared, formats changed, and earlier experiments faded into history.
The collection spans playful motifs, bold geometrics, folk-inspired illustrations, seasonal themes, and abstract experiments. Each pattern reflects a moment in time, a curiosity followed, or a visual idea pushed as far as it wanted to go. While new patterns are still added occasionally, far less frequently than in its early years, Patternocalypse remains an open-ended archive rather than a finished set.
Physical products featuring these designs are no longer sold directly and can now be purchased exclusively through Zazzle. This gallery preserves the remaining collection as both a creative record and a testament to long-term experimentation, play, and persistence.
